The danger of typesetting documents for a living is that it becomes increasingly difficult to read things which aren’t well done. Typography and design snobbery, I suppose. So it was with this report by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. I wanted to understand what they were up to. But the poor design of the original was so distracting and uninviting I decided to redo it.
Science is cool. There is no excuse why it shouldn’t look inviting, too.
